God Wants to Mess You Up
Danny Steyne & John Gabriel Arends
This message mix features a short testimony from Danny Steyne about how He came to realize the importance of having the power of God functioning in His life. Danny explains how God "messed up" his thinking for the better and how God wants to do the same for you. (This message was spoken at the "Let This Fire Be Kindled" conference in 2006 and was set to music by John Gabriel Arends.)
About the Speaker
Danny Steyne was raised as the son of missionaries in South Africa. When he returned to the United States as a young man, he was invited to a meeting where he saw God's power in action. He realized that something was missing from his own Christianity; his Christianity had no expression of the power that was seen in the lives of believers in the Bible. As Danny pursued this God who is alive and moving, his heart was captured. He has been a lover of Jesus ever since. Danny has served as a church planter, pastor, teacher, song writer, worship leader, author, and a conference speaker for the past three decades. He and his wife, Karen, live in South Carolina where they oversee an international ministry called Mountain of Worship. Danny and his wife have nine children.
