Missions
We as a church are committed to Jesus' call to go into all the world and make disciples. We are currently involved in Thailand, Rwanda, Uganda and other nations.
Thailand. We send teams to Thailand about two times a year to help train local churches to do the works of Jesus. We also spend some of our time in Thailand doing street ministry, healing the sick, and holding large meetings and conferences. We are believing God that we will see this whole nation swept into the kingdom of God, with many new churches planted all over the country.
Uganda. Uganda is another country that our church is working in. The country has been ravaged by violence and the spread of HIV/AIDS. There are currently nearly 2 million HIV/AIDS orphans in Uganda. To spread the love of God and help our neighbors in Uganda, we have partnered with Uganda Orphans Fund to help build orphanages in this country. Through this partnership, we have built 2 orphanages, housing fifty children each.
Rwanda.The River is involved in supporting grass-roots ministry efforts in the nation of Rwanda. Specifically, we focus on the care of orphans and widows. Teams may also travel there to teach in local churches.
